Interfaith Hospitality Network week is coming!

Northminster will host Interfaith Hospitality Network families from February 27 to March 6. (We will host three times during 2011.) Through I.H.N. congregations throughout the city take turns hosting homeless families for a week: helping to provide shelter, meals, security and compassion. The success of our week depends on having many enthusiastic volunteers, prepare evening meals, acting as dinner hosts, evening hosts, activity hosts (with the children), overnight hosts, and driving the IHN van. We also need volunteers to help with set-up, cleanup and laundry. We would love to have some new volunteers in addition to our regulars who are always willing to step forward and fill these spots. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity. Sign up in the Gathering Space on Sunday mornings starting February 6th or on the board across from the choir room during the week.
