Umoja Project News

Time: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

The Umoja Project feeds 3,100 students in 18 primary schools in the Chulaimbo area of western Kenya. This nutritious lunch is often the only meal of the day for these bright, young children. The lunch program boosts school attendance and student performance. Your $25 donation provides a year of school lunch for a Kenyan child.

Join us for the Interfaith Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 18, 5:00 pm, at Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation. This lively evening features fun, food and fellowship with our neighbors, as well as a silent auction and marketplace (with excellent Christmas gifts!). Proceeds from the event go to the Umoja Project school lunch program.
