Northminster's Youth Ministry is designed for youth in middle school (6th, 7th, & 8th grades) & High School (9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th grades.)

Hi!  I’m Julie Shannon, Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries at Northminster Church.  Jacob Mann and I strive to make our Youth programming and events a fun, warm, and welcoming experience.  Youth Fellowship, Sunday School, and several other church events are places where you can be yourself, a place to make new friends, andhang out with your old friends, and a great place to learn about God andgrow in your faith!  We welcome you, your family, and  your friends to Northminster!

 Join us on Sunday nights where you can expect...

• Fellowship (Bible study & awesome talks!)

July & August 2010 Youth Activities Schedule!

I know this time finds you actively enjoying the remainder of your summer and also preparing for a new school year.  Here is an update of Youth Events for August and the beginning of the September, because some dates and events have changed!  Every family will receive this info via of snail mail in the next week.   In addition, please check the weekly E-News for updates & the Website.  News & Views, a great resource will not always be up to date in terms of youth activities, so please email me or call me directly for questions or more details.  My email: or cell # 317-753-6985. 

August 2^nd: Monday Fun Night! 6-8pm.  We will be going away from the church for a fun activity!  We plan to go "Creeking" –so please wear clothing and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty & wet!

August 9^th: Monday Fun Night trip to the State Fair!!!  Please meet at Julie Shannon’s home (3935 Central Ave. 46205) at 4:45/5pm. We will walk over as a group, remain at the Fair till 8:30pm and return to my home by 9pm.  Bring $ for fair entrance, food, and rides.  I know some schools begin the next day and if you need to be picked up earlier at the Fair, arrangements can be made. We will have Leydy (the wife of our Mexican Partner Church’s pastor) with us!  Come along and join in the fun when we share a little of Indiana with Leydy!

August 16^th:  No Activity –school begins.

August 22^nd:  Youth & Family Cookout at Terri & Chris Palladino’s home.  5:30 –8pm.  7205 Steinmeier Dr. Indianapolis, IN 46250. Please bring a side dish to share.  This is a time to reconnect before the official kick off party in September.  This is also a great time for families involved in the youth program to gather for fellowship!

 August 29^th: 6-8pm Youth Activity (possible mission project).

 September 4^th: Ken-Ya Help Us Carnival –Please volunteer for this awesome mission and fun filled event!  This is a great opportunity to help others! http://kenyacarnival.com/

September 5^th:  No Youth Fellowship –Celebrate Labor Day.

September 12^th:Youth Fellowship Kick-off party! Harry Potter is our Theme!  Come dressed as your favorite Harry Potter Character and we’ll play some
