Small Groups

ChristCare groups are circles of care with Christ in the middle. They are small groups that meet on a regular basis for support, friendship, and bible study. Each ChristCare group is also involved in specific mission projects that the group chooses. Groups are coed and multigenerational except when noted.

Spiritual Striders
This group of women meets on every other Wednesday morning at 9 am to study and pray together and then walks in the neighborhood or on the Monon Trail weather permitting. Contact person: Barb Angotti at .

Do-in-a-Day Mission Group
These caring people have made it their goal to join together for short-term mission projects that they can do on Saturdays. They also meet once a month in the evening for conversation and bible study. Contact person: Ann Bruce at .

Young Adult Christcare Group: #FoodandFaith
We'll meet at church right after 11 am worship on Sunday, April 9th in the Board Room. We will have sandwiches and drinks (free will offering) and discuss what it means to be a community using Marcus Borg’s Embracing an Adult Faith video series. Childcare is available. This Christcare group is a new small group of people in their 20’s and 30’s – single, married, with or without children. We meet for lunch, faith discussions, prayer and mission on the 2nd Sunday of each month. For more information contact Associate Pastor Ruth Moore.

Other small groups
Northminster also has prayer groups that meet weekly, a banner group that makes banners for the sanctuary and a prayer shawl ministry that knits prayer shawls for those who need to be surrounded in prayer.
