Help me with this week's SIN, please.

This week’s lectionary passages are about sin.  Actually, they are about a number of things, but for some reason the topic of sin stood out.

I get a number of questions from folks about sin, or actually about forgiveness.  But how can we understand forgiveness if we do not understand sin?

So, what do you think of when you think of sin?  What pops into your head first?  How does it make you feel?  What questions does it raise for you?

If you can respond to any of these questions it will help me frame the sermon for this Sunday and I will be very grateful.
