Sorry, I've been VERY busy

I do realize that I have not posted a new blog for a while.  I have more that are partially completed, and they will get finished and posted eventually.  But in the past week since we returned to the states I have been extraordinarily busy.

Each morning I get up early.  I have to finish my coffee and my morning exercise and my breakfast then get into my swimsuit all before Linus wakes up asking for his grandmother.  Then I must hold the baby until it is time for him to eat again.  Then I have to go sit by the water for a while and watch the waves.  The beach walk is required daily as is a float on the raft.  After lunch I need to hold the baby while his dad runs and his mom gets to walk the dog on the beach.

At five I am in charge of preparing happy hour and contemplating the possibilities for dinner.

If that isn’t enough I also have wineries to visit, cute little towns to wander through, novels to read and an occasional run to the grocery or the fish market.  So I am sure you can understand why the computer sits in the corner, untouched, most of the time.  This grandmother business is demanding.

Today Linus is back in the city while his mom and dad take care of some appointments.  So who knows, maybe something else will be accomplished here.  But no matter what I come up with to fill the day, it will not be nearly as important or wonderful as holding my grandson.
