One Great Hour of Sharing

Time: 12:00 am – 12:00 am

Lenten season is a time for taking stock of ourselves, our lives, our communities. ONE opportunity to expand our presence and be greater is through this Special Offering, which will be collected on Palm Sunday, April 5th, through Easter Sunday, April 12th. OGHS does exactly what its name suggests: each of us SHARES out into the world in one GREAT gesture of Jesus Christ’s teachings.

Programs that benefit from this offering include the Presbyterian Hunger Program, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, and Self-Development of People. In addition to feeding the hungry and aiding those impacted by disasters, (i.e., the recent tornadoes that devastated Nashville, Tennessee), your generous contribution becomes community grants for low-income grassroots groups. In turn, these grants promote justice, build stronger communities, and empower economic equity among the disadvantaged.

Consider being a part of something bigger than yourself. Your Special Offering will be gratefully acknowledged and used in extraordinary ways.
