Holy Week

Everyone is welcome and invited to all worship services at Northminster!

April 14, is Palm Sunday. Join us for the Palm Parade welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem. Matthew 21:1-17 tells the story but we will hear from other voices as well about that day and what it meant. Children should return their Fish Banks today. Join us at 9 or 11 am.

Maundy Thursday is April 18. Our Last Supper will be in the sanctuary beginning at 7 pm. Join us as we remember this important event in Jesus’ final week.

Good Friday, April 19, we will have a Tenebrae Service at 7 pm. This service of candles, music, scripture, poetry and prayer prepares our spirit for the celebration on Easter.

Easter Sunday, April 21, we welcome the resurrection with scripture, sermon, music, brass and the return of the Alleluias. Help us celebrate and help us welcome neighbors and visitors. Would you consider parking down the street and leaving the close spots for our guests? What about sharing a pew? A bulletin? A hymnal? Let’s open our doors and our hearts to the risen Christ and all who come to worship Him. Worship begins at 9 and 11 am. Invite friends!
