"Free to Believe" Adult Education
Time: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Join us for a 4-week series led by Don Knebel, “Free to Believe – From Reformation to RFRA.” starting April 10th.
This class will meet for four weeks both in the Board Room and on Zoom from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
April 10th - "Morning Stars" - (Recording) (Notes)
April 17th - "Here I Stand" - We will look at the period of the Protestant Reformation in Germany and Switzerland, focusing on the teachings of Martin Luther and John Calvin. (Recording) (Notes)
April 24th - "The Great Awakening" - We will look at the first 300 years after the Protestant Reformation, reviewing the development of religious freedom in England and what became the United States. (Recording)
May 1st - "A Delicate Balance" - We will look at the development of current ideas of religious freedom in the United States and continuing debates about what that freedom should look like.
