Clothe-a-Child

Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

It’s Time to “Clothe-A-Child!”
Thursday, December 5 from 9 am to Noon

Meet in the Gathering Place at 9:15 am for coffee and doughnuts. Carpool to target at Glendale and meet 60 great kids from School 55. Each child needs a shopper – so we need many shoppers No experience needed – just a big smile and an eye for style. If you have done this before, spread the word about the warm fuzzy feeling you get when your young student finds just the right jacket or boots. We’ll return to Northminster afterward for pizza and games, and then send the students back to school with their purchases. It’s a fun day! Some of our Northminster folks show up in their best bad Christmas sweaters.

The cost for this event is $10,000. Please consider donating to help defray the costs. Look for envelopes in the pews or in your personal offering boxes.

There will be volunteers in the gathering place in the coming weeks to ask you to volunteer – please say yes! (Or sign up online, below.)
