Fundraiser for Family Promise

(April 20, 2021 Update:) Two weeks ago, we asked the Northminster family to consider a donation in support of Family Promise’s #NightWithoutABed campaign, with a goal of raising $2,000. Three cheers!! We have already surpassed that goal!! Many thanks to all donors.

But homelessness does not end with $2,000! Every night, families are still sleeping in their cars or couch-surfing with friends? We CAN do more!

The Apartment Shelter Project is an alternative to in-church hospitality in these uncertain times. Every dollar raised in #NightWithoutABed goes toward renting an apartment for a homeless family, until they can stand on their own.

Several Northminster members will be experiencing #NightWithoutABed on Saturday, May 1, to remind ourselves of the privilege of a roof over heads.
