Electronics Recycling

Time: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

The Deacons are hosting an Electronics Recycling event on Saturday, November 21st from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm! Gather up your tired, old, sad, broken, or unused devices and components (a list of acceptable and restricted items will be available soon) and bring them to the parking lot where RecycleForce will collect them, strip them down for appropriate recycling, and help some folks get back on their feet in the process.

Please note that document shredding may be available but is currently TBD. More information will be posted here when available.

RecycleForce hires formerly incarcerated men and women, providing meaningful work as well as GED and literacy tutoring; assistance with housing, driver’s license reinstatement; substance abuse and mental health counseling; tax preparation, budgeting, etc. They work with industry partners committed to hiring ex-offenders to facilitate the transition from temporary to full-time, gainful employment
