Weekend Camping Trip 2025

Time: 12:00 am – 11:59 pm

The Northminster Weekend Camping Trip is back on August 22nd - 24th! Ten sites have been reserved at Shades State Park. The cost is $50 per site, and if you would like to eat with us (optional), it is $15 per person to cover food and firewood (capped at $60 per family). The park entrance fee is $7 (paid when you enter), and tents are not provided, so be sure to bring your own! Please register by August 13th, and if you have any questions, contact Karen Herbst-Kim.

Arrival is anytime after 2:00 pm on Friday. Meals included are Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as Sunday breakfast. We will end before lunch on Sunday, although folks do not have to leave their campsites until 5:00 pm that afternoon. Folks are welcome to join us for Saturday activities without reserving a campsite.
