Simple Strength with Kim Allen

Have you heard that weight-bearing activity/strength training can help you build muscle and bone? Are you nervous about lifting weights on your own, or not sure where to start? Learn basic strength training exercises in a safe space! All body types and abilities are welcome. Preregistration is required using the link below.
- September 8 - Stabilizing the core
- September 15 - Lower body (hips, legs, feet)
- September 22 - Upper body (back, shoulders, chest)
- September 29 - Total body
Each class will include step-by-step instructions on movements for the target area. Every move will be "scaled" to suit your current ability - this means that every move will include adaptations to be more or less intense based on where you are now. Movements will use body weight and very light weight (think small water bottles). Light weights will be provided at each class. Each class is just $10!
